ISBA Insurance Details

ISBA Insurance Policy Details in Plain English (PDF)
If your ISBA affiliated association needs a certificate of insurance for an association sponsored event/meeting  or outing where members of the public (non ISBA members) may be present send an email  to [email protected]
containing the below information:
  • Date of event/outing
  • Location (must be google mappable address)
  • If applicable - name of entity at the location (such as a park district/business/school/church/etc) which has requested to be listed on the certificate of insurance as an additional insured.
  • Please send the request at least one business week in advance of  the event/outing

The below termed as the "Honey House" law was passed in 2011 which removed the requirement for a Dept of Public Health inspected "honey house" for beekeepers which produce a less than 500 gallons of honey per year.
